Those seeking membership in Timber Ridge are asked to affirm their belief in the basic Christian statement of faith: "Jesus Christ is Lord." We celebrate that central and life defining affirmation as the basis of our unity in this congregation and with Christian communities around the world.

In addition to our core affirmation of faith in Christ, we are also governed and guided by our confessional heritage. Those seeking ordination within the Presbyterian Church (USA) are asked to affirm their belief that the confessional statements are "authentic and reliable expositions of what Scripture leads us to believe and do" and that they will be "instructed and led by those confessions." (G-14.0405(3)) The confessional statements include both ecumenical creeds (Apostles' Creed and Nicene Creed) and statements out of the Reformed tradition.
